Yes, the apartment was peeling and creaking—about as far a swing as possible from the refurbished retro renovation recently reviewed, but this one’s living-room window was just right—for a mollydooker, whose peccadillo was holding the brush up to the pane’s breaking light before each stroke *and* who especially needed the view of the bridge fore the mountainscape, a scene uncreatable in the more polished, albeit certainly less perfect place. ; )
