Then, one day, I met a stray and asked for its name.

“Meow name is Artemis,” purred the kit quite tame.

She had no place, so I offered my sill with a view.

“Oh! If it fits my furry bits, I will sits! Mew-mew!”

Soon afterwards, I noticed joy had turned from void to caboodle.

Could it be that life’s purpose was more than the drive to canoodle?

It was still all Greek to me, so I shared some yogurt with Artie.

“Meow, some tuna too would make this snack purr-fect—and hearty!”

At that, I realized how much balance she had to my life brought.

“And, could mew please warm some almond milk for me, but not too hot?”

Modern-day theoxenia had crossed my hearth all of a sudden—

Love by way of kindness, wrapped in a basket, and cute as a button. ; )

Alice followed the snowy bunny, wondering to which place curiousity would land her after such a winding hop.

Through marshmallow marshes and leafy leas, Alice passed with awe, but leading Leporidae zipped by each flop.

Wishing for memories to keep in spite of no time, Alice began to pocket and pastiche, though her guide would not stop.

Unlucky feet weathered by wanhope finally sighed in delight when hare’s fare expired and reminiscence inspired—as a new shop. ; )

There is the hanap

With the sparkling top—

From my greatest pop.

I replied a blink,

To his birthday wink,

When offered a drink.

So, please hand it down,

Toward my ruby gown,

To be worn to town.

Well, you have earned tip,

For I reached sans rip;

Thus, ready to sip—with you too. ; )
