Alice had felt averse to pursuing new paths for longer than she cared to admit to herself; she felt sure she carried too much baggage—fetters to any attempts at advancement. But, through reflection, she realized that benefitting change could happen if she up-held herself rather than totes of moats, so, with an adjusted attitude assisted by andragogy, she amended her attributed appearance from accidental achiever to apt adult. ; )
