Jack of the lanterns of the taverns, having rolled his way home after a night of liquor feating, began to regret eve’s predominant ruckus as his mood turned more muckibusβ€”such that he did regale, from his sill, the remaining still not with stories of fright, but, rather, tales of brilliance, cheer, and light. ; )

Here is the way leaves fall in fall

As wayleave welcomes guests of all

To share in setting season’s ball,

Which harvests cheer from chirper’s call

And borrows brews from across hall

While snuggling into warmthful shawl

β€˜Fore watching leavesβ€”each cozed fall crawl. ; )

For mind accepts break from reading room’s scan

To heed aromatic, stat call of nan,

Who insists on now enjoying warm scran

While respecting the proximity ban.

She listens, as writer’s number-one fan,

How the protagonist’s plot smoothly ran

Until they realised forward with plan

Needed, first, nourishing nosh for the clan. ; )

17.October.24

A tale of two kitties.

After refrigerator,

Each gurgitator

Smelled a rat,

Though tums were fat,

So that was that.

Then, each cat

Sought a mat

On which to nap flat,

But gal in hat

Was seen putting that

In room of her brat.

Now, on their lat,

Refusing to meow-chat,

Felines request pat. ; )
