When world turns mean with floors underneath-pulled,

Walls can hold up a bit more than they should.

When dreams are nayed and efforts are kicked,

Swapping cancel for spancel could do the trick.

Often, though, all that exists

Is an escaped moment to stare an unbelieved wince.

But, look not past hope in oaken friends,

Who envy your gift of replanting amends.

For in a state of uncertain worth,

Within slightest corner of the Earth,
