Hullo. I am a penguin. I used to be a chick. Today is Easter and this is my island. There are no moai here. Nor are there any longer daffadowndillies here as I ate for breakfast the ones my mum sent me to celebrate the holiday. My island, though, is locuplete with sand. I like making penguin angels a lot because the sand is soft and does not stick to my feathers. I like spring because the water is warmer and I no longer experience the subsultus that happens when my feet are in cold water. I must, now, go take my turn watching over the eggs. I am waddling a bit late, so I may need to expiate my tardiness by polishing the nest pebbles and bringing home a flipperful of favorite fancy fish. Merry-Cheery Easter. : )
