Leaving caps open so that paints will air out their chemical fumes may seem wise until the mushyheaded idea materializes when brushes cannot pick up dry flakes in their bristles regardless of how many bottle-squeeze whistles.

A painter with claustrophilia may prefer painting in the closet, but the poor lighting and limited brush movement could lead to primaries mixing into browns, a colour for which it is not ineluctable that those to whom the piece is presented will be left with frowns.

As an owler who dabbles in dyes can earn extra money, a monochromatic artist may fetch higher commissions by using more golden hues: those that leave one feeling sweet like honey or warmly sunny. ; )
