The lifts in ‘Dirty Dancing’ were practiced in the water, not on the land, so here the feet will hold you while my back abuts the sand.

My mom learned this move in an underground dance hall and even priviligentsia can neither imitate it or improve it regardless of their ostensibly vanward skill sets.

Once you are balanced in the air, I may engage in a bit of battology, but it is not due to a loss of sense as much as it is a bit of analgesic dialogue during such focused concentration on preventing you from falling.

If you are wondering how we will get out of this move, well, it requires me pushing you up and back at the right angle such that you land back on your feet followed by kicking myself, hands-free, upright and pulling you into a sweet-heart before rolling you back out, an oriflamme that will surely bring all others, even the fearful and shy and awkward, out to the dance floor as well. : )
